Description

Cycle-Right lets you begin the nitrogen cycle in a new aquarium without using fish to produce ammonia, avoiding the stress and damage that fish-in cycling can cause. Add chemically-clean ammonia directly to the aquarium and monitor levels to safely and efficiently establish your beneficial bacteria colony before adding fish.

Directions: Add 1ml per 10 litres of tank water, then test ammonia levels. If between 1 and 2ppm, wait 4 days. If below 1ppm, add more Cycle-Right and retest (1ml per 20 litres raises ammonia by approximately 0.25-0.5ppm). Repeat until ammonia sits between 1 and 2ppm, then wait 4 days. From day 5, test daily for ammonia and nitrite and top up as needed. Once ammonia and nitrite both test zero for 4 days running, stop dosing, wait 1 day and retest – your tank is then ready for fish. For best results use alongside a beneficial bacteria supplement such as Bacta-Boost liquid or Bacta-Boost D.
