Basics Premium Carbon is a high-absorption carbon media that reduces odours, tannin staining and unwanted chemicals in aquarium water, helping keep your tank crystal clear. Simply add to your filter — it can be used loose or inside a net bag.

How to Use

Rinse the carbon in dechlorinated or old tank water to remove dust, then place it in your filter inside a net bag or media basket, after your mechanical media. Activated carbon gradually loses its absorbing power, so replace it regularly. Remove carbon while medicating your aquarium, as it can absorb treatments.
