General KH Alkaline Buffer 10kg

Description

Phosphate free and designed for sensitive setups such as planted tanks running CO2, General KH Alkaline Buffer slowly raises KH (carbonate hardness) by approximately 1dKH (18ppm) at a time. As an alkaline buffer, it has a high pH that counteracts the acidity from CO2, stabilising pH and reducing stress on fish. Suitable for both freshwater and saltwater aquariums.

Directions: Use 1 level teaspoon (approximately 5g) per 60 litres of water to raise KH by around 1dKH (18ppm) and help raise and stabilise pH. In planted tanks using CO2, dose cautiously in small amounts to avoid large pH swings.
